A Story for Karsyn Estelle
Rocky's Silent Morning was written from a place much deeper than simply creating a children's book. It is one way I honor the life and legacy of my daughter, Karsyn Estelle.
Karsyn was only with us for 22 hours, but her life changed mine forever. Her story led me to ask questions I wish I had asked sooner and inspired the work I do today through Mold Pups.
This book is my way of turning pain into purpose by creating awareness, encouraging curiosity, and helping families pay closer attention to their health and environment. My hope is that Karsyn's legacy reaches families she will never meet, encouraging parents to trust their instincts and reminding children that their voices matter.
For me, this is more than a book. It's one of the ways I continue being Karsyn's mom and carry her legacy forward every day.

Staci Sutton is the founder of Mold Pups, a canine mold detection company serving families in Middle Tennessee and beyond. After her own family’s experience with hidden mold, Staci became passionate about helping others better understand what may be hiding inside their homes. Alongside her professionally trained detection dog, Gus, she helps families investigate areas of concern and determine practical next steps. Her children’s books are an extension of that mission and a deeply personal way of honoring the legacy of her daughter, Karsyn Estelle, through stories of curiosity, awareness, courage and family.
